KY Aerospace Technical Challenge
Announcing the Kentucky Aerospace Technical Challenge (KYATC) 2026 Opportunity!
KYSGC will support KY college teams with seed funding for competitions and challenges in the 2026-2027 academic year to assist teams with the resources to participate. Kentucky college teams who register for a NASA or aerospace-related capstone design, challenge or technical competition (including rocketry and robotics) can apply to receive $5,000 in funding for materials and supplies.

Team Project Awards
Students from NASA KY Space Grant Affiliate Institutions who are interested in funding for a NASA-related team project will need a faculty mentor to sponsor and submit a Team Project (TP) proposal as described on the KY Space Grant page. All proposals and budgets must be approved by your institution’s research office.
