The NASA Kentucky Space Grant and EPSCoR programs offer unique educational and training opportunities each year to students across Kentucky.
KY students can start their pathways of opportunity with NASA, STEM and aerospace-related activities at an early age and through high school by engaging with programming available from our pre-college partners.
As students enter post-secondary education, KY Space Grant activities are available at universities, colleges and community college and technical schools (KCTCS) across the Commonwealth, including Team Projects, Internships, and Research Projects.
Students in graduate school can engage directly with NASA research through faculty-directed research projects that provide mentoring and collaboration experience with some of Kentucky’s most innovative researchers, through KY Space Grant Graduate Fellowships and NASA KY EPSCoR projects.
Previously supported NASA KY projects are listed here:

The NASA KY Space Grant Consortium includes over 30 affiliate institutions statewide and belongs to a network of Space Grant Consortia that serve each of the 50 states.
Recruitment and training of US citizens for careers in aerospace science and technology is a national priority, with special focus on increasing participation of women, underserved rural and urban students, underrepresented minorities and persons with disabilities.
