Academy@Shawnee Students at SSEP National Conference

In July 2011, Academy@Shawnee high school teachers and students presented results on the effect of micro-gravity on the viability of lactobacillus GG experiments conducted aboard space shuttle Endeavour STS-134 at the SSEP National Conference.  While they were in DC, they met with Kentucky US Congressman John Yarmuth at the National Air & Space Museum shown here.
