MSU launches Balloon During Teacher Workshop
The balloon MSU launched during the teacher workshop as part of the STEM Enhancement through Stratospheric Space Sciences grant reached 117,480 feet ASL and the balloon traveled almost 50 miles down range before coming to a rest 60 ft. up in an oak tree in Harrison Co. The payload packages were finally recovered 48 hours later.
